Christine Kjær Jacobsen • April 7, 2025

This comprehensive report outlines key activities, strategies, and accomplishments of the Net Zero Innovation Hub since its launch in September 2023 through February 2025.

It has been a transformative year for both the Net Zero Innovation Hub and for the industry. Since its foundation just 18 months ago, the NZIH has reinforced its commitment to sustainability and innovation through a series of groundbreaking initiatives.

Chairman of the board Dietmar Baro notes; “It is an honor to present the first annual report for the Net Zero Innovation Hub (NZIH). This first year has been an exciting journey of growth, innovation, and collaboration towards our shared vision of a net zero future.

While the organization is still growing, we have made progress in key areas, and the main project tracks; Heat reuse, clean onsite backup power, and Scope 3 emissions, are well underway.”

CEO Alberto Ravagni adds, “The Hub members and partners represent an alliance to realize the ambitious industry goals in a rapidly evolving environment. We invite stakeholders across the industry to join us in driving innovation and achieving a successful, sustainable growth trajectory for Europe’s data center sector.”
